About JackLine

Northern Michigan technology experience, carried forward.

The tools have changed—from telephone lines to Wi-Fi networks, connected devices, and automated guest access—but the standard has not: solve the real problem, do dependable work, and leave the customer with a system they understand.

The name

A jackline is the line you clip into.

On a boat, the jackline runs the length of the deck. You clip your harness to it before you go forward in weather, and it's the reason you're still aboard when the boat rolls. It isn't glamorous equipment. It's the thing that holds.

It's also a telephone line. JackLine Technologies carries forward the values behind Jack's Telephone Company—preparation, practical problem-solving, and a clear handoff to the customer. The name is a quiet tribute, not a claim about an unverified timeline or an endorsement by any former employer or customer.

The JackLine approach

Show up prepared. Solve the real problem. Leave a system people understand.

Founder experience

More than 15 years across real technology environments.

Founder Kody Bigelow brings low-voltage and technology experience spanning Wi-Fi, television, connectivity, cameras, digital signage, speakers, antennas, and related systems in hospitality, resort, retail, office, and commercial settings.

Why vacation rentals need a specialist

A rental combines residential equipment, commercial guest expectations, remote ownership, multiple service providers, seasonal conditions, and a rotating group of users who have never been in the building before. One-off devices rarely add up to a reliable operating system on their own.

What JackLine adds

Property-specific testing, practical corrections instead of wholesale replacement, clear account ownership, tested guest instructions, recovery documentation, honest support boundaries, and coordination with licensed professionals wherever the work requires one.

Private-preview note: the final legal business name, trademark clearance, public contact details, logo, insurance, and regulated-work partner status all remain to be confirmed before public launch.

A practical first step

Start with the property in front of you.

A paid Technology Reliability Audit creates the baseline for honest, practical decisions—and if it doesn't find at least three fixable issues, there's no charge.
