Services & pricing

Three steps, in order. Nothing sold before it's tested.

Every rental has a different structure, provider, equipment history, owner, and guest-use pattern. JackLine Technologies begins with an audit instead of selling the same package to everyone.

Step one

STR Technology Reliability Audit

$149 per property

Credited toward approved corrections booked within 30 days

A 60–90-minute on-site review of everything guests and managers depend on, and a written red/yellow/green scorecard delivered the next business day.

  • Wi-Fi speed and coverage measured where guests actually sit
  • Provider equipment, guest-network separation, backup power, and failover
  • Television, streaming, remotes, entry, and alert-routing review
  • Device and account-ownership inventory
  • Red/yellow/green scorecard with prioritized next steps
  • Written report within one business day

Step two

Approved Corrections

Quoted from the scorecard

Labor from $249; hardware, permits, and licensed trades separate

You approve only what the audit found. Nothing is sold before it is tested, and no property gets a package it doesn’t need.

  • Spectrum guest-ready setup, from $249
  • Guest-ready Wi-Fi improvements, labor from $499
  • Winter property protection setup, from $695
  • Smart entry and climate coordination, quoted after compatibility review

Step three

JackLine Shield

$149 per property, per month

$399 onboarding · $1,639 prepaid annually (eleven months for twelve)

Ongoing support for the owner or manager once the property is documented and working. Optional, and only worth buying after the corrections are done.

  • Two remote support requests per property each month
  • Maintained device, account, and escalation records
  • Device-status review and alert-routing checks
  • Scheduled seasonal technology reviews
  • Priority appointment scheduling
  • ISP, manufacturer, and licensed-trade coordination when authorized

Hardware, subscriptions, travel, cabling, permits, licensed-trade work, and third-party charges are separate unless a written proposal says otherwise.

Inside step two

What corrections usually look like.

You will not choose from this list. The scorecard does—these are the shapes the work tends to take once the property has been tested.

From $249

Spectrum Guest-Ready Setup

Testing, guest-network organization, labels, restart steps, and account ownership for compatible Spectrum systems.

JackLine is independent and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Spectrum.

Labor from $499

Guest-Ready Wi-Fi Improvements

Coverage correction, access-point placement, guest and owner network separation, professional configuration, labeling, instructions, and owner account handoff.

Wired backhaul is preferred where practical. Full professional systems cost more than the starting figure.

From $695

Winter Property Protection Setup

Power and connectivity review, freeze, leak, and temperature alert setup, recipient and escalation configuration, and a seasonal readiness record.

Property alerts depend on power, connectivity, compatible equipment, manufacturer services, and recipient availability.

Quoted after review

Smart Entry & Climate Coordination

Compatible lock and platform workflows, guest-code configuration, backup entry procedures, battery schedules, thermostat setup, and account organization.

Not every lock synchronizes with every booking platform. Compatibility is confirmed before quoting.

Ongoing support

Optional, and only worth buying once the property works.

Two remote support requests per property each month are included. Beyond that, remote work is billed at $75 per half hour.

JackLine Shield

$149

per property, per month

Best for: Year-round rentals with an owner or manager who needs a person to call

  • Two remote support requests per property each month
  • Maintained records and alert-routing checks
  • Seasonal technology reviews and priority scheduling

$399 onboarding. Prepay annually for $1,639—eleven months for twelve.

Winter Watch

$89

per property, per month · November–April

Best for: Seasonal and vacant properties through the freeze months

  • Freeze, leak, temperature, and connectivity alert routing
  • Tested alert recipients and a documented response sheet
  • One mid-season readiness check

Prepay the season for $499. Alerts supplement—never replace—professional winterization and insurance.

Alert Forwarding

$49

per property, per month

Best for: Owners who want alerts routed and little else

  • Alert forwarding and basic device-status visibility
  • One support contact per quarter

Not guest support, repair, on-site service, emergency response, or guaranteed monitoring.

Who pays: ongoing plans are billed to the property owner, who owns every account, device, and subscription. Property managers who introduce and administer a property are paid $20 per enrolled door per month rather than being asked to buy it out of a management fee.

Labor rates

On-site and urgent work, billed separately.

WorkRate
Standard on-site support$149 first hour
Same-day urgent response, when available$225 first hour
Additional remote support beyond the monthly allowance$75 per half hour

Travel, parts, hardware, permits, subscriptions, third-party charges, and additional labor are separate. Same-day availability is a response option, not a promised resolution.

Compatibility-first hardware

Real equipment. Property-specific fit.

These are the product families JackLine Technologies may install and document when the audit shows they fit the building, the accounts, and the operating workflow.

Manufacturer specifications

These are representative real product families JackLine may specify. Final hardware appears in a written proposal after the audit and compatibility review. JackLine is an independent service provider and is not endorsed by or affiliated with these manufacturers. Hardware, subscriptions, travel, cabling, permits, licensed-trade work, and third-party charges are separate unless a written proposal says otherwise.

Scope clarity

What's included—and what's separate.

JackLine Technologies prices professional assessment, configuration, documentation, and defined support. The property stays in control of its own equipment and accounts.

Hardware and provider subscriptions are separate unless a written proposal specifically includes them.

  • Travel is confirmed by location before scheduling.
  • Cabling, permits, and licensed-trade work are separately scoped.
  • On-site labor is billed separately from monthly plans.
  • Third-party providers remain subject to their own availability and terms.

A practical first step

Begin with the property, not a package.

The $149 audit identifies the work that property actually needs—and if it doesn't find at least three fixable issues, there's no charge.
